The guy is so enjoyable as a commentator. I find it hard to believe that so many people say they dislike him.

I was watching a game in the PK80 in the beginning and he said, how on earth did they put this thing together and not include Kentucky and Syracuse. I believe he called it a travesty of the highest order.

When I lived in Portland and he was playing for the Jailblazers, I remember going to a small neighborhood Y in NW Portland to hear an up and coming counter culture singer, Holly Near. It was sparsely attended as it was before she became well known in that era. There was Bill sitting by himself a few rows from the stage right in the middle.

He used to play pick-up in my neighborhood outdoor court. Not everyone will appreciate him but there are many that do.
