Bio diversity at the Alamo Bowl

The football gods have taken over this game. It is out of the hands of mortals.

Imagine if you took either Oregon laying 7 or the under on the total of 74. Midway through the 3rd quarter it's Oregon 31-3 and you're counting your $$$. Not.

I had Oregon and the Under of 78 (bet a few weeks ago). I cashed out on the Under Bet when the payoff was 95%, when it was 31-10. Did not do it on Oregon win because the cash out was a little less.

I had no dog in the fight but when the camera focused in on Phil Knight I started to pull for TCU.

I momentarily flashed on Phil Spector.

Amazing game...Cuse fans ought to take some lessons from TCU fans...most stayed the whole game. Really impressed with how well TCU and Oregon traveled to the game.

The beauty of these HUNH offenses is you can score lots of points in a hurry.

Awesome game...glad I was there.

I imagine that's a pretty easy trip for any TCU fan. If you live in DFW, Austin, or Houston, the longest drive is under 4 hours. They did stick it out though. Place was still 100% packed to the end.

Can't believe how much Oregon panicked and fell apart at the end.

But is it really much different than going to MetLife? We travel 15k maybe 20k tops...maybe if we have a decade of solid play we can build this fan base back up...

The perception of travel distance is much different by region though, right? I think the notion of a 3 hour drive is considered differently depending on where you live. At least that's always been my experience.

I agree that it's also much different to travel to see a team that's been perennial top 20 vs one that's hadn't been top 20 in over a decade.
