Pearl won BE reg season Title that final year. I think you think your final two are Alexis and RAF but they won that reg season title with pearl in '86

You are correct. Lol. The site I used to research regular season championships omitted our 1986 league title. It had seton hall. Should have known better.

So the answer is actually 2. Spera and Hawkins.

That means that every freshman that has stepped on campus since 1982-1983, and stayed four years, has either won a Big East tournament, a regular season championship, or gone to a final four.

Hope that's part of our recruiting pitch.

I only see one four year stretch where SU did not achieve any of the three items listed above. That stretch is 81-82 through 84-85 so that would be Hawkins & Spera ...

And I just saw your post above giving the answer...duh...sorry...

Here's the research to back it all up. The only question I have is on Sonny Spera, I'm not sure if he enrolled in 1981 or 1980. I don't recall if he redshirted his freshman year and then left early to go to Dentistry school. Edit: Spera did indeed enroll in 1981...so he is part of the answer.

Yep. Didn't even look at it that way. Imagine those on the five year plan! When I was doing the research I anticipated that there would be 2-3 sporadic classes that missed out. Was surprised that there were no holes between the mid 80s and present.

Getting here too late. Missed all the fun.

Conclussions are good. A couple of slips in the data. We won the BE conference in 1987 (3 way tie) as well as reaching the FF. We did not win the BE Conference in 1998.
