BE regular season champs their senior year.pearls class? raf and alexis?
really? i thought they were always the bridesmaid to sj and gt those yearsBE regular season champs their senior year.
Pearl won BE reg season Title that final year. I think you think your final two are Alexis and RAF but they won that reg season title with pearl in '86Here's a hint which is also the odd addendum:
Pearl Washington never achieved any of those team milestones. But he didn't stay four years. What would have been his senior year was the 87 final four.
So far you all have 2 of the four. Andre Hawkins and Sonny Spera.
You are correct. Lol. The site I used to research regular season championships omitted our 1986 league title. It had seton hall. Should have known better.Pearl won BE reg season Title that final year. I think you think your final two are Alexis and RAF but they won that reg season title with pearl in '86
Okay, so I'm not 100% positive on this as its a self made trivia question, but I think it's accurate.
Since JAB has been head coach, there have only been four players that he's brought in as freshmen, who spent four year here that did not get the chance to do at least one of the following:
Win at least a share of the big east regular season title.
Win a big east tournament.
Go to a final four.
Who are they?
And there is a very ironic addendum to the question.

Matthew! 0-4. You must've read the question wrong cuz you're better than thatBilly Owens, Lawrence Moten, Raf Addison and Wendell Alexis
Here's the research to back it all up. The only question I have is on Sonny Spera, I'm not sure if he enrolled in 1981 or 1980. I don't recall if he redshirted his freshman year and then left early to go to Dentistry school. Edit: Spera did indeed enroll in 1981...so he is part of the answer.

Yep. Didn't even look at it that way. Imagine those on the five year plan! When I was doing the research I anticipated that there would be 2-3 sporadic classes that missed out. Was surprised that there were no holes between the mid 80s and present.I imagine this would also apply to SU students too, right?
So every student who has enrolled since 1982 and stayed 4 years has witnessed either a Big East regular season title, Big East tournament title, or Final Four appearance.
30 years.
Wild.
In other words, you're old. ::winking emoticon guy::In other words, I (along with the rest of the Class of '85) attended SU during the worst 4 year stretch in JB history.![]()
That is impressive. You are correct. Lol. The site I used to research regular season championships omitted our 1986 league title. It had seton hall. Should have known better.
So the answer is actually 2. Spera and Hawkins.
That means that every freshman that has stepped on campus since 1982-1983, and stayed four years, has either won a Big East tournament, a regular season championship, or gone to a final four.
Hope that's part of our recruiting pitch.

We did not win the BE Conference in 1998.
Sonny Spera
Sean Kerins?
We finished first in the Big East 7 that year.
