Yep - and can't stress enough, he's following in his dad's footsteps there. As soon as the transfer possibility came up, it seemed like the likeliest destination. I hope he lights it up there.Perfect school for him
Lower level and will get more playing time
Best of luck to BJ at LaSalle. Hope we happen to play them sometime in the next 2 years so I can see him play live in a LaSalle uniform...
I agree he's got the talent. But I also completely get this - following his dad's path. Makes 100% sense to me.I thought he'd go to another P5 school...he has the talent I believe.
Will the A10 tourney be in Barclays again next year? If so, I may go and root for BJ and LaSalle.

Oooops! Totally forgot about that. I will check him for him and the team the following year.Yes, but he's got to redshirt so he won't play. Then in 2016-17 the ACC will take over.
I'm sure they will either do it the week before the ACC or try to keep it somewhat local. Didn't they use to do Atlantic City?Oooops! Totally forgot about that. I will check him for him and the team the following year.
Agreed. People always forget, BJ is a year young. He was only 17 when he got to SU. He desperately needed a redshirt year, and that's what he's getting now.with a year to get strong, watch out
Speaking of La Salle...think about how good BJ's dad's team must have been. They had BJ's dad, Lionel Simmons, and Timmy Legler. That's not too shabby.Sweet. I have always liked Lasalle though I'm not exactly sure why.
