Took a little digging, but I found it.A hidden credit is available to some YTTV subscribers. It is a $60 credit given at $10 a month over 6 months. The article where I found out about this is at the end of this post. I tried it and I got the credit. Apparently it is not available to every subscriber. We don't know who. Maybe I got it because I am a YTTV Sunday Ticket subscriber. If you try to get this credit, please post here whether you were successful or not.
To possibly get the credit you you have to access your YTTV on a desktop (or laptop) computer only. Then do this:
1. Open YTTV on a desktop computer (or laptop which is what I use).
2. Go to the upper right corner where your icon or profile is and click on it.
3. Click on "Settings"
4. Go to your Base Plan and on the right click on "Manage"
5. If you are eligible for the credit, it will show up under "Options". It will show you can have a credit of $10 a month starting on your next bill date and lasting for 6 months. To get the credit, click on "Agree".
I clicked on "Agree" and immediately received an email that my "promotional" offer has been activated.
It is unknown if you get this credit whether you will also get the $20 credit YTTV has said they will give to subscribers if the dispute extends for a period of time.
Good Luck!

Great! Glad you got it. Do you have (or had) Sunday Ticket?Took a little digging, but I found it.
Now, will I be around for 6 months to max out the spoils/savings.
Only YYTTV and Mickey Mouse know.
Thank you, FloridaCuse
I did not know about this 30 minutes ago, but I do not sense it has anything to do with SundayTicket. I was able to find it (after some digging) and got the $10 savings x 6 months.I did not have that option. Not a Sunday Ticket subscriber.
No. I do not.Great! Glad you got it. Do you have (or had) Sunday Ticket?

After playing streaming roulette with increasing prices, blackouts, and no option to watch YES for Yankee games I went crawling back to Spectrum. We watch a lot of tv but hated the wires and cable boxes so did their streaming service through Smart TVs and Rokus. I pay a little over $215/month for ultra internet (1gB) and tv package including unlimited cloud DVR plus HBO, Showtime, ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ , AMC+ and several other streaming services. Includes a free modem and router but no other equipment. Streaming quality has improved markedly in the last couple of years. Can stream live tv from anywhere in the US except for local channels, but even for locals if I record to DVR I can start streaming the recording two minutes after the live program starts. There is a lot I miss about having actual cable, but the cost isn't one of them. Spectrum lost me when they went 100% encrypted digital. They could have provided clear QAM basic cable and I could have left my bedroom/bonus room/office tvs hooked into the wall, and I'd still have cable. But instead they encrypted every channel, raised their package prices for the "digital upgrade", and wanted me to rent boxes for every cable outlet in the house. My $179 cable service was now going to be $475. For no additional channels or services...just to maintain what I already had. Nah. Got YTTV and I'll never look back. Added bonus that I don't need to subscribe to cable at our vacation house, which would be Comcast and another $200/mo bill. Instead I just use the YTTV account there, and get the network affiliates local to that area when I'm there.
This article confirms not everyone is getting the $60 credit. Suggests only those who paused or cancelled in the past. No true, I did neither. Also says this credit is separate from a possible $20 credit to everyone.
We've had DISH for about 5 or 6 years now and love it. I know some people feel different, but you can access info through their app and there is the website where you can access it through computer, laptop, tablet, etc. Some of the TV shows on Fox, CBS, NBC, and ABC give you an option to automatically skip commercials if you've DVR a program which is great. They had a deal last year we're if you had Netflix they would pick that up for free, only downfall were the ads associated it but it was better than paying the monthly price for it. It maybe now included for new customers. For me, I love the DVR functionality with YTTV and the ability to login from anywhere I am. As for the DVR, its terrific. Once you set something to record (i.e. college football, basketball, NFL games, etc.), it will record these for you automatically so you never miss a game.
If there is another provider that has similar DVR functionality and allows you to easily access content from outside your home, I'd be willing to jump ship. There wasn't anything a while back but I haven't tried the competitors lately.
I wonder if they're just testing it out and seeing how many people are taking the credit. I don't understand why they wouldn't tell people about it. I think that if this gets out and enough people know about it they'll have to eventually give it to everyone. Subscribers that aren't getting it can't be happy about it.yea, I've never paused or cancelled in the past either

Same for me, and got the discount. Thanks for the tipoff!!!!!yea, I've never paused or cancelled in the past either
FWIW, I contacted YTTV support via chat was told that the credit was "randomly distributed" and has now been "exhausted." They did offer 2 weeks of "free time" instead. I took that.I wonder if they're just testing it out and seeing how many people are taking the credit. I don't understand why they wouldn't tell people about it. It means they push out your billing date 2 weeks.Free time? Not following that. Is that a channel?
I love YTTV and won't leave. $5 Sling day + $1 sport pass worked great for the Binghamton game. Disney/ESPN can kick rocks.
Sucks, they're not offering me the $10 discount. This pisses me off now even more with YTTV. Bastards.Took a little digging, but I found it.

I chatted with them and asked. They told me no soup for you. But thank you for your patience and being a valued customer. LolSucks, they're not offering me the $10 discount. This pisses me off now even more with YTTV. Bastards.
