Blackout Looms of ESPN on YouTubeTV

Same...

"Over the next few days, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to redeem your $20 credit for YouTube TV. Once redeemed, this will be applied to your next bill."
If the DIsney issue isn't resolved before my next bill date then they will put on pause.

I just got the email about the $20 credit. It said we'll get a follow up email with instructions on how to redeem it in the coming days. Not sure why they can't just do it automatically (I know they can, but they just want to save money on those who don't redeem)
I did as well. Maybe their system is to post it next to your bill and you click to take the credit. That’s how they did the $10/mo credit.

I got the email for the credit last night. While it's annoying that we have to manually claim it, the link in the email takes you directly to the page where you have to click Redeem to claim it. So I found it very user-friendly.

Thanks. I just looked. I haven't gotten the email yet that says they've given me the credit. And it isn't posted yet next to my plan. I think I read that it could take a few days before it's posted for everyone and that when it is we'd get a second email.

YTTB subscriber for 7 years and still no credit. This is pissing me off.

I signed up for a 5 day trial of directv. It allowed me to watch the fb and bb game this weekend. However, watching the BB game via the ESPN app was painful. It won't let you fast forward through game stoppages. Instead, it forces you to play view ads- I watched on demand. Before the YTTV/Disney dispute, any time I've accessed on demand content, I can ff and rw without ads. On top of that, not a fan of directv's interface. Much prefer YTTV although if things don't get resolved in 2 weeks when my billing cycle ends, I'll move on to hulu or fubo.

Both BB games were ACCNX so you would have had to stream those through the app anyway?

Correct but anytime I've done it before as a YTTV subscriber (before the disney dispute), I've never had to deal with ads.

When you were watching it live or replay? Because live has always had the ads.

Replay maybe not...but otherwise...what would you be watching during the media time outs?

Nah, it was recorded. That's how I watch most of the games actually. I do things with my kids or golf during the day, then watch my games in the evening and enjoy some IPAs. My family always knows not to say a word about the outcome so rarely does it get spoiled.
