As I stated I think the decision has already been made At this point with the roster or incoming players aside from Culpepper,who I think is the long term projection at QB after Dungey. AJ Long may as well transfer to a sub division school At best he might be the backup but I don't think Lester has him in mind as the kind of QB to lead his offense. Thats my thoughts on the QBoptions for this and next year and beyond.
IT better not be bumpy or Scott will lose a ton of support from fans who are some what patient but this opposition is not one of those tough games like the open last year against NOVA. I suspected this to happen but not with Hunt getting season ending season after a few minutes on the field. I said to my wife who is anavid fan that who ever comes in to replace Hunt is critical for the team and the QB position for this and next season. I mentioned that if the kid whose name is Dungey its a good thing. She was impressed with his movement in the backfield and totally loved his jump pass having never seen that before . I said that this was a bit of an oldtime kind of pass which used to be on many older pictures of QBs. Not so much in the modern game. She still liked it.Winfield displayed why he was a top WR when he entered the program. If we had a replacement in the secondary for him he should be re-switched (an assist from Jerry Seinfeld) taken from "re-gifted".Erve Phillips deserves kudos for his play yesterday. I see it possible for the Orange to surprise a favored team this year.
