It was a stupid timeout. Play to the end of the clock. We are weak at Inbounding and we call a timeout that forces us to inbound the ball.

You don't have to be particularly quick to get open on an inbounds if you actually run a play other than "just get open".

I don’t think it has anything to do with intensity, we’re extremely one dimensional on both ends of the floor and are not able to make big adjustments while the other team is able to to change their entire game plan knowing what we do.

It’s pretty rare for us to run a good offensive set out of a TO. This isn’t new - it’s been going on for years.

I honestly wonder what’s discussed during TOs.

I don’t think it has anything to do with intensity, we’re extremely one dimensional on both ends of the floor and are not able to make big adjustments while the other team is able to to change their entire game plan knowing what we do.

And he dribbled into a double team in the corner, and he missed a layup, and he airballed a FT...

We simply cannot score with the shot clock turned off at the end of the first half. We never get the last shot and more times than not allow the other team to get the last shot. It is almost laughable how bad we are at the end of the half with the ball and the shot clock turned off.

I sort of agree. But Benny was just ok, not really having a "good" game. Better than he has been, though.

Most times, not an issue. If they can’t inbound the ball, then this team really has probs. Oh well, who cares. That play didn’t lose the game.

We are 7-7. Time to look at things like we did back in 01-02 NIT where it's time you put the guys who need to be key parts next year on the court and let the experience that can't get it done come off the bench.

It never works anymore. We never get a good shot off in those situations and it 100% sent Miami into the half with momentum in a game we lost by 1.

When you have a playmaker at guard and/or forward it works far more than a team relying purely on a screen and the pass.

The stark difference in 1st half vs 2nd half this year illustrates how badly JAB is getting outcoached at this point. As if he didn't have enough holes in the roster, now he's getting outclassed in-game. I think we may have seen this program crater last night. What happened in that second half was predictable, yet no less embarrassing.

I've seen flashes of what he used to do. I mean, he obviously sees the switch to the 1-3-1 when people are getting too-easy entry at the foul line. So he still makes adjustments. But not so much on the offensive end. I don't understand why we don't see a lot more off the ball movement and screens down low for cutters, things like that. We really need something better on offense.
