Hiring on race is absolutely stupid.

True, but it would seem strange to pass over an older associate head coach for a younger assistant regardless of color. If Boeheim really wanted McNamara to be next in line, he would have found a way to get rid of Coach Autry and promote McNamara to be next in line. But, as seen with the Hopkins fiasco, Coach B only looked out for himself and perhaps thought he'd coach forever.

Do people forget that Boeheim lost to these teams for the last 3 years ? And people are losing their minds over 2 close wins with Red and want him fired?! Newsflash SYRACUSE HASNT BEEN GREAT FOR A LONG TIME. You guys wanted better recruits and Red is about to have two top 30 recruits and just got an All American. And 2 years into a completely new team and everyone is insane, when the team is 2-0. And it’s so clear how many of you have never played a minute of meaningful basketball in your life with some of these takes about the team and what goes on
