Only got to watch the last 6 minutes or so. Did CJ foul out or play poorly earlier, didn't see him at all - same with Watkins.

The lineups were a bit confusing at times. Fair played a bit but wasn't converting. Mookie was a monster all game but not in at the end when wecneeded to score. As JLine mentioned, Deane who mad a couple shots but was ineffective in the halfcourt got most of the minutes over Triche. And Southy also didn't play as much as I thought. Devo, as evidenced by his recent play, is plenty good to handle the point so I don't know why we didn't have southy and fair and triche in there with him.

I only watched the final 8-9 minutes of the game. From what I saw it looked like the final 8-9 minutes of about 80% of Cuse/Pitt games of the last decade.

I could have not watched that game and told you exactly how it played out. Pitt gets an early lead, SU claws back into it and briefly takes the lead. Pitt grabs the lead back on timely shooting, and by shredding the zone. SU comes up short in the final minutes.

It's so funny watching the game and seeing all the same tendencies there after all these years that made me love certain players, or made me want to rip out my hair for others. Fun trip down memory lane, and love that all those guys still bleed Orange.

Too bad they lost, but that's typically what we do against Pitt. It's just muscle memory at this point for them!

I haven't read that but how hilarious. Our actual team was in the Final Four last year and is closing in on a great roster for next year. They haven't been to a Final Four since Roosevelt was president and their coach just left for greener pastures at TCfrigginU. They scored bigtime on his replacement, getting a guy who was on the hotseat at a middling SEC program! Oh yes, it certainly must suck for us!!

No wonder we lost. We played to many men for too many minutes. They are not use to going more than 6 deep. They were confused with this.

first half is where we lost it. just way too many wide open threes, especially in transition, often times Devo's man as he still has no clue or desire to defend at the top of the zone. Roberts has yet to develop any semblance of touch around the rim. Looks like he is trying to throw the ball as hard as possible off the backboard on his post moves.

I cannot express how badly I want AO on this team. Guy tears it up in the NBADL, you think he wouldn't have his way in TBT?

First time I watched a game and I have to ask...why? Who funds this event? The basketball was bad, and if you are playing for 2 million dollars play to win. Some of the guys on our team can't do it anymore and or weren't checked in mentally. That said - it's glorified pick up in a big city Y or park.

Flynn is done physically. He can't play. Agree Rautins would be a great addition.

I think Triche will be better next year. He hadn't play organized ball in 15 months before this, after tearing his ACL. He did win an MVP in his league in Italy.

We need more firepower, big guys aren't going to dominate in these tournaments. Was dissappointing to see CJ not play well.

Whoever put this team together should never plan to be a GM. This team had no balance. The bigs can't shoot and there was no post game. There were too many players totally devoid of playing any defense. For two years they didn't have a point guard and the perimeter shooters were poor. I forgot how bad defensively Green and Devendorf were. I was shocked how bad CJ was keeping the ball in front of him on defense. Watkins played tough around the rim, but he doesn't have any touch. In these kind of games, you need to have shooters all over the place and have a couple of bigs who can rebound. I'm not sure what Blackwell was trying to do all night.

I've heard that Flynn can't be tracked down. Does anybody know more?

But I do agree that they need younger guards. I figured Triche would be a step in the right direction, he needs to play more. No offense to Deane, but they need a younger, more athletic lead guard.

Flynn is done. He physically is finished.

Triche is good, that was the first organized ball he played in 15 months.

The best bet for another guard would be Rautins.
