Boeheim's emotions boil over after close loss

Just watched it too and yes, they cut it at OAA. That headline is terrible. Makes it sound like he went ballistic.

he's on his way to becoming the verbal version of Woody Hayes. It's getting old, actually skip the getting part. These national guys are going to come gunning at him going forward. I get it with a douche like Katz but now he's extending this it looking like. Not sure but asking about Coleman vs. asking about Fine are two different balls of wax. Get a grip JB.

Honestly I wish they would spill over on the court. Would like to know that at least he still gives a crap instead of him rolling his eyes and saying wow at the stuff show his guards are putting on.

add to this he's not a bit happy with the ACC thing and I cannot see him enjoying any of this going forward. The golf courses await...wish I was him :cool:
 
The thing is he used to be the darling of the national media, and saved the venom for the local guys. You have to figure they will be goading him on just to see if they can get him to snap. Makes great copy.

Maybe he could use that anger and get T'ed up while Gardner is throwing himself into our players and getting whistles all game.

I was asking the same thing about Coleman. Guess what JB, your team lost to a team that is supposed to be less talented. There are going to be questions about your strategy. Get over it. You're not infallible.

Really - Get fired up on the court for once. Maybe it's all an elaborate plan to sneak into the NCAA's as a 12 seed and surprise all the other teams. They'll never see us coming!

I can see it now, # 12 seed Syracuse upsets #8 seed Gerogetown, they never saw it coming!

It's pretty funny that a lot of us have a similar opinion about Buzz Williams but I thought he did a real good job last night. I'm not going to say that he outcoached JAB, but I am sure many will step in line to do so. Same with JTIII.

Those were two of the worst second halves that I have seen Cuse play and they were in back to back games to make things worse.

I give you JTIII. Buzz was the beneficiary of the lopsided officiating and our guards handing his team the ball.

Not sure people in this thread even watched the presser before posting. JB wasn't angry at all.
 
we lead the nation in fouls. we give up more natural 3pt and 4 point plays than anyone.. we have given more all time scoring records than any team in his 37 years. jb claps when southerland goes from 40. he gripes when he misses. he plays who he wants like triche rather than watching his production. his players deserve better. the majority of the 35 k qre idiots like u and want him for another 10 years . he develops few. christmas is a wasted stud. mcw is a wasted stud. its not losing that bothers me, but rather boeheim blaming everyone but himself

Yeah the last few games JB looks sort of helpless and somewhat accepting of the poor play. That's not like JB.
 
JB is protecting his kids, and taking attention away from their play and putting it on him. Good leadership. He's got their back. Hopefully, they will have his.

we'll know soon if he wants to hang around and keep going at it. If he starts a charm offensive with some media soon (as he's showed in spots in the past), then we'll know he wants to keep on plugging and coaching. If on the other hand this petulant behavior continues and a real media vs. JB war continues on then he may have already decided he's had enough.

Regardless its going to interesting to see how it plays out.
 
Frustration is one thing, but a mature intellect should be able to parse it so that he's not unjustly lashing out at people just doing their jobs. Absolute arrogance. "HOF" and ridiculous talking head terms like "legendary" have gone to his head. JAB is the Donald Trump (i was gonna say Paula Abdul) of coaching.

I think he's also getting frustrated with the way the game is being called today - (insert Jay Bilas rant here). We must have been fouled 20 times when guys drove the lane last night, including many grabs that resulted in "turnovers". How in the world do we only go to the line 7 times against Marquette? I think he might be getting sick of the game itself, to go along with his frustration with his players.
