I didn't see a bold prediction thread for this season I figured I would start one. I have a few for 2025:

- We will have another season of 4 or more receivers with 50+ catches, although I don't suspect anyone will best Pena's 84 catches last year.
- We will have more sacks this season than last (27 last year)
- We will also have more forced turnovers (16 total last year)
- Unlike last season I think we will have at least 1 special teams touchdown
- While we won't approach McCord's passing yardage total last year we will average over 300 per game
- We will exceed 1500 yards on the ground this season (300 more than last season)
- We will have a double digit sack artist on the roster (Reese or David O or ...)

Not terribly bold but this team stat needs to improve from 2024.

Opp Pts/G: 29.2 (96th of 134)

With this schedule, I am not sure it's going to get a lot better, though.

My bold prediction is 9 wins. I think we beat Tennessee week 1. Losses at Notre Dame and at Clemson. The other loss can come from GT, UNC, or Miami.

I actually think we will be a better team overall with more balance on offense. I believe WR will be comparable to last year and the O-line should be better. Defense is the question mark, however, I do think D-Line is vastly deeper and could be a strength.

I have not resigned myself to being a 5 or 6 win team, when I feel we are improved in many areas from last years 10 win team.

We will spend a lot of the next year talking about what the change in Chancellor will do to EVERYTHING sports related.
Are you suggesting that Fran will be our next chancellor!?!?!

FG kicking will cost us some wins.

I will not be surprised if SU's STs rank low in field goal percentage, in kickoff return defense, in kickoff returns, in punt return defense, and in punt returns. And high in blocked kicks allowed. You could say I'm not optimistic about Brumfield, Oh, or Woody.

Oline wins the Joe Moore Awards
Cook has 1000 yards and 15 TDs
Top 5 secondary in the nation
Gill and JRS top 750 yards
Willis and Nixon top 1500 yards and 500 yards receiving
Defense gets 30 plus sacks and 15 plus INTs
Fran gets washed 10 times again
ACC refs make good calls in favor of Syracuse
Lee Corso picks OSU and bows out as one of the greatest ambassadors of the sport (ok last one is not bold but I wanted to throw in a gimme haha)
