Boston regionals

Anyone going? Anyone book a hotel? Which hotel? Whats the best way to get tickets, stubhub? Never gone to ncaa tourny before.

So are we pretty much a lock for Pittsburgh for games 1 and 2? Saw this discussed recently. Man, that's two hours from me and would be there in a heartbeat.

Im going. Staying at a Hampton on Monsignor O'Brien Parkway. No tix as of now but will get them when the time is right.

Should be there for the Saturday game and then staying until Tuesday so we can catch the Boss Monday night.

When are you thinking timing will be right? I live about 45 minutes from Boston and can't imagine passing up the opportunity to be there. Kicking myself for not buying them from ticket master as soon as they were released. I really don't care where I sit i just want to get inside the building. I've considered going outside the (TD) garden looking for tickets and then heading to a nearby bar if I can't get in but I'm sure fakes are everywhere...

Once the tourney starts and when we actually make it. I too should have bought them through ticket master but didnt. Scalpers should be your last gasp effort. Try other boards, the host school, other schools that are going to Boston that dont sell out their allotment. Thne after than, stubhub or ebay then scalpers if you strike out everywhere.

Also always buy from fans outside the arenas first.

Tried getting these through Ticketmaster when they went on sale months ago, but had no luck. Didnt get through once after trying for half an hour, so dont feel bad if you missed out on the regular sale of these tickets. Regionals when not in a domed stadium are a tough ticket.

That's the regional finals. The tip times are 4:20 and 6:55. The other regional final that day is the West regional. It all depends on which teams are left.

I assume the west regional would get the late game, doubt they'd start a regional final game at 1:20 local time.

BTW i just got goosebumps thinking about syracuse playing that game at 420 with the final 4 on the line haha

The West regional is in Phoenix so it would be a 2:20 local tip. Back in 2004 I made the trip to Phoenix and the storz/bama regional final on Saturday was 2:30 local. I think it depends on the teams involved. The bigger national draw will get the later time start.

Yes, if the donations are large enough. There is always some cut-off point. If we're in Boston, all SU tix will be swooped up very quickly to high-end donors.

What constitutes a high end donor?? just curious.

I will try and get some tickets if we are in the East Regionals. I'll likely stay at my uncle's in Wellesly who will certainly be there assuming the games in Boston. Here's hoping.

Face value for Pittsburgh was 70.00 per session per ticket. I'm hoping WVU is in the opposite session from us on Thursday like they were in Buffalo. Selling those tickets were like taking money from a baby. If it's not WVU, I'm hoping it's OSU.
