I think on at least a couple he got stuffed and then fell in the crease. Those definitely should count as his in the books. Looks like Spallina got credit for 3 and Thomson got 4. Would have to look again but at least one of those should have probably gone to Spallina instead of Thomson. A pass into traffic that you can't handle should go to the passer.

I thought they both had subpar games by their standards.

BU was playing possum and collapsing when a ssdm would try and self clear. Most 10 men rides make it nearly impossible to clear unless you have a Matt Abbott just elite level 2 way mid.

honestly bet could make a play for goal with ten men ride. Grant be ballsy n pass have to be on a dime. Also depends if defender is right with guy to baxk up shot while trying to clear/break ride. But could have dude who’s behind net to back up (only if defender is close enough) make b line to front of net (middle field) n try throw a rope to him for empty net. Or even if goalie on opposite side sees it n tries get back to net then have our attackman who goalie left break up feild for pass. I don’t know think can make something happen with little thought. Which this is not. This more half baked idea or just thinking of what could be thought of.

we ran a ten man ride when I was in high school in the early 90s. it was more of a despiration thing than a standard tactic. same for college in mid-90s, no one used it as a standard, go to ride, but you would definitely see it utilized in underdog situations or if a team needed to get the ball back in end of game scenarios.
