I've only skimmed the 10 or so bowls around us so far...but every other bowl blurb at least mentions both teams. Ours talks ONLY about Minnesota, and makes no mention of SU at all.

EDIT: Just looked through all 35. Unless I missed something, we are literally the only team not even mentioned in their bowl's blurb. Are you kidding me? What bull***t.

I really don't care about us being slighted at all. We're a 6-6 team that could have been left home. We're bowling, and we have the opportunity to beat an 8-4 team from a major conference. I'm good.

When all is said and done, UNLV-North Texas might end up being the most exciting game played, while Auburn-Fla State could be a blowout at halftime.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. All I really care about is beating the Golden Groundhogs.

I have no problem with the game being ranked where it is, that's just a silly exercise. I guarantee our 2010 Pinstripe game against KSU was not ranked high beforehand but was ranked VERY high after the fact. Like Jekelish, I did notice that we didn't even get mentioned in the synopsis while all other teams did. Miami really didn't, it was basically talking about Bridgewater being from Miami, but beyond that... Hey, this is all noise, we made a bowl after moving to a stronger conference, losing a ton of talent from last year, with a new staff, QB issues, a challenging OOC schedule. That being said, if NC State went 6-6 Doeren would be getting a standing ovation from ESPN, Shafer gets squat. Fu** 'em!

Agree with this completely. However, to not even mention one of the teams, and have it be the only team among 65-70 not mentioned, well that's pretty insulting. That's all.
