bowling green in 2014

From a layman's point of view up in the third level, the O-Line definitely looks like it is struggling to sustain the pace as the game goes on.

Ideally, we'd have enough quality OL depth where we could substitute interchangeably throughout the game to stay fresh. Not from play to play, obviously, but from one possession to the next.

It'll likely improve a bit with the cold weather coming. "Sweltering" and "humid" does not go hand in hand with pleasantly plump linemen.

Side note on the BG football team: Not good in 2016. Should have stayed with a Briles spread.

Our incredible conditioning should give us the advantage in the fourth quarter. Here is our quarter by quarter scoring breakdown:

1st 31-35, 2nd 27-35, 3rd 16-14, 4th 7-30.

We are the ones running out of gas. It's got to be the depth problem.

That's not gas, that's mistakes being made and adjustments by good coaching staffs against our defense.

It also may be adjustments made by the opposing D as CO just wrote please the fact that the SU O isn't hitting on all cylinders due to their inexperience and don't have all the plays needed to adjust to those adjustments plus a little fatigue as well. It takes time and we have seen some glimpses of what is coming which makes me very excited about the direction this team is going.
