Brady Hoke watch...

Whoever it's going to be, they're wallets just got fatter. I thought they rushed into the Hoke hire.

My guess is Addazio.

Apparently Harbaugh has said no and the BOT might be afraid Miles uses them for another pay raise from LSU.

Shady could always be an option again but i guess he ends up at Nebraska.

I think that Les Miles to Michigan is nearly as unrealistic as Harbaugh.

I don't understand why, especially since Miles has already turned down UM previously, he would take the job now. He has a young but talented team that should be an SEC contender soon, and all of the resources and support you could ever want at a major college program. Michigan is a rebuild job with high expectations, why would you give up LSU for that?

This means Nussmeier is available...lots of OC options out there.

Agreed--makes a ton of sense.

And if not Miles, I'd guess Harbaugh.

Harbaugh will need to get a divorce first. All the word from the NFL guys (Mort, Clayton, etc.) is that his wife really does not want to leave the Bay Area. So much so that he might even take the Raiders gig.

Lot of talk about Addazio, Matt Patricia, Pelini, Schiano

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This is going to get very interesting very quickly with Michigan, Nebraska and Florida all looking for coaches. They will all be willing to pay top dollar and want a proven winner/big name. I think the hotline to Bryles and Patterson in the Big12 and Dabo and Cutcliffe in the ACC will be ringing along with Pinkel at Missouri.

I would hire Cutcliffe. He is the class of the group.

I have spent some time in Louisiana and always quite surprised how much they dislike Miles down there. He may have had enough. I would say no chance at Harbaugh but Miles might be ready but he is loaded at LSY for next 2 years

What coach that has been anywhere for a long time has not endured crap from fans and boosters? Imagine what it would be like at Michigan, where he has no shot at winning like he does at LSU.

Michigan has an offense problem.

None of those guys address that. The defense is fine.

Much easier to make the playoff at Michigan than LSU, but he had a ton of talented frosh this year so he might want to give it one more run.

McElwain is probably the guy with his Alabama background as well as HC experience.

New HC would probably bring his own DC anyway.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Didn't Miles make more at LSU, before performance incentives, than Hoke ever would make at Michigan? I would guess that Michigan's pockets run a little deeper than LSU's but when the difference is probably a couple hundred thousand dollars on multi-million dollar deals, I'd stick with LSU and at least have a legit shot at a NC every few years, even if it meant giving up the chance to go home and coach.

But then again, I'm just a shitbag internet poster...

Interesting -the first 2 names were Rob Konrad's choices for us in our last 2 HC searches. Maybe he should our next AD?
