I'd even say the top 4 AA JV teams would finish 1-4 in class B varsity. Yea I said it.
i'd hope not, you're not allowd to be JV after your sophomore year. As a competitve Human being, I was always frustrated with the younger players who were better than me, made me play extra hard(not that that made a bit of difference).

Right. Mike Stone is a good kid. Good ball player too. But he wouldn't sniff most D1 schools even as a walk-on. I remember back in the day when Ronnell Herronn was a walk-on at Cuse. He showed up at the Le Moyne gym to play some pickup ball one day and just absolutely destroyed everyone. I know some people will say that "oh it was just against a bunch of scrubs at Le Moyne," but it was actually against a bunch of city kids who played ball at Henninger and Fowler and Corcoran. He was the best player on the court, by far. Most D1 walkons can ball.

I hoop at archbold.

I keep my own stats too. I average like 2 points a game (scoring by 1s and 2s), like 5 boards, and 3 assists. Sometimes I go off and score like 4 points.

I should walk on to our team too, I'd eat Brandon Reese's lunch.

I played intramural hoops at Archbold when I was an undergrad. I sucked by the way. In a very, very large way.

However there was a guy I played with who was incredible. Everybody that played with him thought he was just fantastic. He literally could not miss from three and his ball-handling skills were excellent. We all wondered why he wasn't on the SU team. He was something like all-county and 2nd or 3rd team all-state in New York. I think he was from Schenectady.

He said he tried to walk on and just wasn't good enough. So there's that.

There is a simple concept he chooses not to accept...level of competition, lol.

Last time I played at the Y I scored 11 of my team's 15... get me a contract

When your playing a the Y, there is some form of competive drive you want to win. Especially i play with the same guys every saturday and the main court and if you win you stay on to face the next 5

if i wanted to be a ball hog, I could score 20 a game consistently. Im not lying

aren't most games to 15?

is the Y usually packed on Saturdays? I'd come play but don't want to wait in line for 45 minutes to play once

Syracuse's walkons would probably handle any D2 starting five fairly easily. The talent gap is incredible.

is it burncusetotheground or berniefinefever?
use your imagination, I have literally come up with countless names for countless people on this board when their name is obscure.

thats exactly what happens thats why when you do play you want to win, cause then your team stays on

LOL this is epic.....

I'm glad you guys play and all, but because forum life is more about what we know than what we can do, I just thought I'd let you know that I have coached my kid's 8/9 year old Park & Rec basketball team to two straight undefeated seasons.

So keep that in mind in the future when you consider challenging one of my observations about the team.
