I've seen him at my gym in DeWitt a few times over the last 2 years. He was there rehabbing a knee injury that was lingering. Chatted with him quite a bit one time. He's always been a quiet guy, but definitely is personable. Talked a lot about the upcoming bball season (the one last year). Even got the # of a chiro he was going to. Told him that was not a charge in the 2013 Final Four and he smiled. I was also on campus the same years he was there and we both grew up in the area, so had some things in common.
 
Good person (which is most important) talented and strong player. I wish that he had more tenacity to go along with his talent. One of my favorite SU players.

Assuming you are being tongue in cheek here. Tenacious would be an apt description of his play. A really fun to watch glue guy. I hope he a wonderful next chapter.

I may be biased because I used to lift at the same time he did at the ymca and got to know him, but he played the back half of his senior year with major back spasms that affected his shot and took a ton of sht from fans because his production suffered. We had no other options as Cooney was not ready.
