Breakdown Of PSU 1st TD

There were some questions who exactly blew assignment on the 1st Robinson TD. Here is a great breakdown of what happened. Wilkes getting beat for 2 td's in the first game, after the same thing happening last year needs to be addressed, especially with Whigham, Morgan, and Kelly as options.

the QB didnt read the play . it was all by design based on how we were attacking that play. if wilkes does his jiob and hits the wr the play never happens.. they cant all attack the ball.

the same thing should have happened for us.. PSU played press coverage all game with safety of the top and the DB jumping the run from the corner and we never adjusted the routes except for the one deep play we play actioned out of.

exactly, they took the short stuff away and dared us to beat them deep. unfortunately we only connected a couple times

Robinson was the best player on the field and was able to get separation. We don't have that WR right now.
