Brenden Straughn to BC / Dan Engelstad to Pepperdine

Man, Luke Murray making moves, even though his team is still playing. I gotta say I’m a little anxious about what he might be able to accomplish there. I don’t want BC to become a problem. But I assume if Murray does well there, he’ll depart for greener pastures.
He’ll wait to take over for Hurley I bet.

Well, they’ve been a problem for us of late. Maybe they have to be worried that we’ll be the problem again

BC could be a good job. Being the only major college basketball school in Boston should be more effective than its proven to be. They have no competition closer than UMass, Providence and Connecticut. (and that's coming from a guy who went to Northeastern)

None of those locations have the cachet of Boston, by a mile.

But nobody has been able to win there. If he were able to recruit effectively, and have a few good seasons, I think BC could really turn it around. Then he has to decide to try to reach the next level or go somewhere else and rebuild. Considering he would be coming off a few years of success at a P4 program, you would have to think he might think long and hard before wanting to jump at the first SEC job dangled before his eyes.
