I am diehard fan give me whatever odds you want Syracuse will MAKE CFB playoff and will lay them to you as long you make a real bet. It is insane to expect this team to qualify for the CFB playoffs. I would go crazy if we won the Atlantic division but yeah that makes me a person with their mind made up.

Jeez I can't understand how far the other side of the spectrum takes it. Even Cusian would be more realistic and he and I debate a lot. Right now I would sign up for 8-4 or 9-3 in a cocaine heartbeat. I have given Lester/Shafer there credit but NOBODY and I mean NOBODY expect to see us in the top 4 this year, but yeah my mind has been made up. What.

Clemson has road games @ Miami, Syracuse, NC State, South Carolina and home games with Georgia Tech, Boston College, Florida State, Wake Forest left.
Their are the only ACC team capable of making the CFB playoffs.

I think you need to wait until the end of the Sean before you determine how the ACC is perceived nationally. I don't see any confernce out there that looks like they're dominant. The ACC is as good as anyone.

Yes, they could - but every win would need to be dominating (and I mean DOMINATING). I just don't see it happening, based on what I've seen so far.

Look man, you're taking it all too seriously. I think anyone that frequents this board knows where you stand with SU football and the coaches. A lot of people disagree but that doesn't mean every thread has to turn into a debate about it.

I didn't bring the coaches into this at all I praised them and said I was wrong about them. All I said was Clemson is the only real ACC threat to make the CFB playoffs then somebody else said SU could make it and then you took a shot at me. I responded. Sorry but if people want to take shots I will respond.
I have given SS and TL credit for showing me I was wrong it doesn't mean we are making the CFB playoffs at 12-1 when the ACC is underperforming this year.

The ACC is horrible top to bottom. The top is prob mid tier in some of these other conferences. Can't compare Clemson to Baylor/TCU/Bama/LSU. Nd might have lost last night but Clemson was not impressive. More about ND bungled opportunities (Kizer missed about 20 open guys in the first half, dropped td, fumbles etc)

We hear this same thing every year ... then Clemson or FSU goes out and smokes someone in a bowl game that is considered superior ... last year without Watson Clemson embarrassed Oklahoma ... and while they didn't overwhealm against ND at least they won the ballgame. Which is far better than what LSU fared against ND last season and ND is better this year IMHO. I think ACC is a middle of the pack conference but horrible from top to bottom is not accurate.

Miami has defeated Nebraska
Clemson has beaten ND
BC has beaten NIU (who gave OSU quite a scare)
SU has beaten CMU and gave LSU a handful of trouble
Pitts only loss is on the road at Iowa a team who just beat Wisky
UVa gave ND all it could handle
Va Tech pasted Purdue who gave MSU all it could handle
UNC pasted Illinois who appears to be getting better after beating Nebraska in nail biter

There is a lot more football to play and bowl season will help to answer a lot more questions as well.
