Thank you to Coach Shafer for finally waking up and starting our most dynamic offensive player. Yes, that right.. he is BY FAR our best chance at a home run. This includes Broyld. Now maybe I can stop ranting on this board about how he needs to play.

Last thing missing is letting him return EVERY kick. I imagine this will happen next season.

9 catches for 62 yards and he's our best chance at a home run? I was encouraged by how we used him but let's not go crazy here.

Is it crazy? Our offense, outside of our run game, is woeful.

ucf is up 2 spots up to 21 and there behind louisville. kinda pulling for ucf to do well with all the syracuse and cny connections

Ashton and PTG are currently better big play threats based on what I've seen in games.

Completely disagree. To each his own i guess...

Nine catches man, thats more than we get in an entire game as a team at times. The coaches know he is the best chance, and he is going to prove them correct.

We as a team have not had less than 10 receptions in a game. Nice try.

If the coaches knew/thought he was their best homerun threat, he would've had a bigger role earlier on regardless of his grasp of the playbook. He would've had a few of his own homerun plays drawn up by the staff.

I'm excited about him too, but let's temper expectations just yet. He's more of a Danny Amendola-type than a Demaryius Thomas.

K, good talk.

Yeah while he certainly seems to be quick and a bit elusive... he still looks pretty normal at this stage compared to some of the speedsters we have already played this year. Its nice to have that type of receiver for sure and it is promising to see him actually catch and hang on to that many passes in a game. Baby steps.

6.8 yards per reception doesn't scream explosive. Take out that 25 yard catch where he was open because of the play call and he was at 4.6 yards per reception. What are you talking about?

Thanks. It was directed at TB tho after a tirade he had earlier in the year when he explained how bad UCF football was and how they wouldn't win a conference game in the ACC this year except if they played Syracuse. Just like to remind him every once in a while how that prophecy turned out (attempt to keep him grounded). It also goes to his football cred and his prognosticating prowess. ;)

If Brisly had started each game we'd be undefeated right now.

Two yard button hooks where he gets creamed by linebackers that are 50 lbs. heavier than him is not the best use of his talents. Getting somebody in front of him who can block on a wide receiver screen would be helpful. I'd like to see him run some wheel routes and torch a linebacker on a mismatch.

Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more wheel routes!

it's abundantly obvious he can be used better... I think mcdonald may be holding some planned plays for estime back for upcoming games when we will absolutely need every trick we can muster... just a maybe...
