I agree with this. I actually thought Crume made some nice plays toward the end of the USF game. Be nice if he can step up.

I think Crume will be fine. Problem is, we ideally need 4 guys in the rotation. 8 overall on the DL. So we'll lose a little inside when Crume and/or Goggins is getting a rest.

Bromley, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound tackle, was hurt Tuesday in practice. Marrone said it was a lower-body injury.

"We’re working to get him back this week. I don’t want to say he’s definitely out," Marrone said. "We’re trying like heck to get him back, because that would be a major blow for us."

I'm really not sure how to interpret trying like heck to get a guy back from a "lower body injury."

True and losing Bromley is big regardless. I meant more that I thought Crume played noticeably well in that game.
