Brown added for Dec 27 / ACCN

I am in an interesting predicament and thought I would share:

-I could not attend Saturday's Lehigh game, so I sold my pair of season tickets on stubhub.
-I never got paid by Stubhub, as the game was postponed.
-The tickets were not showing up as a sale in my Stubhub account.
-In my Cuse account, I do not have access to Monday's game against Brown since I had transferred them. The owner of the Lehigh tickets has access to them.
-I spent about a half an hour on the phone with Stubhub. I need to provide them with emails sent to my from Syracuse that says Saturday's tickets are good for Monday's game, proof of the sale email, and proof of the ticket transfer email.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone is in the same predicament.

Their Associate Head Coach has some decent experience against the SU zone.

Never heard of him.

What’s annoying is, this game is being offered for Lehigh but is on a Monday at 6pm

I can’t make this game and they won’t issue a refund so therefore I am out my money

Hopefully they change that policy as it isn’t fair to change the date and team and not allow people who purchased single game tickets to not get their money back

Update: they informed me that they won’t change the policy because they rescheduled it and it’s a rescheduled date so basically it’s my fault now that I can’t make it. Not exactly sure that’s how it should work…it should be you can either use your tickets for that game or take a refund….. stuff like this, is why the casual fans get turned off by Syracuse University

Did you buy a single game ticket or are you a STH?

So I take it we now have guys testing negative?

Like, we can field a team.

Or... is this how JB finally pulls off 5X40 for real?

Update to my update. After going back and forth and explaining to them that most other events when rescheduled like this offer you to go to the event or get a full refund, they reluctantly refunded me but told me it’ll take 7-21 days to process

Thankful that they were able to, I asked if they couldn’t refund my tickets if they could count that as a donation. They didn’t think that was as funny as I did

I’m sure they are getting bombed with calls.

That is disappointing. We are in still in the middle of a pandemic, concessions should be made due to the unprecedented circumstances.

Get ready for highlights of the 2005 Vermont NCAA game. But then again it's the ACC Network, they are pretty slow to the punch. It might just go over their heads. TV analyst Corey Alexander didn't even know during the FSU game that we were using a 1-3-1/1-1-3. The ACC Network is usually uninformed and doesn't do their homework.

I'm kind of in the same boat. This is 1 of the 2 Otto's kids club games. So I have tickets for my 3 boys (2 of which are 5 or older & need a negative covid test) that are included with the Otto's kid's club membership. Their 2nd shot is actually later today, so they obviously won't be 14 days out from there on the 27th. I've been looking up places nearby to get them a test, but there is nothing available Christmas Eve, (obviously Christmas is out regardless), and taking them the 26th (which also seems to be unavailable everywhere) likely wouldn't yield a test result in time anyway.

So basically the boys don't get to go to the game, which will be met with tears & disappointment for a 2nd time. I'm out the $ I spent on tickets for my wife & I unless I convince her to let me go with a friend while she stays home with our 4 boys. Which I'm sure she will, but on short notice right after Christmas with no concessions and our opponent being Brown, it's a lot harder sell than just about any other time/game. I wish the University would just change this game with another 1 as part of Otto's kid's club, but there may be more logisitics with that, that i'm not thinking of. In any case, it kind of stinks.

Here’s another option. They do charge $65 but you then file it with your insurance company. Scroll down for Syracuse. 15 min test.

There’s also been a number of pop up test locations. Many offer the 15 min test. I don’t think you need appts either but call the places you can to get details.

The thrifty shopper plaza on old Liverpool rd at the corner of electronics pkwy.

Wellnow on rt 57 has drive up. Not sure about rapid tests.

Heritage Lincoln used car lot near downtown

Landmark theater

Upstate community hospital may have them also.

Thanks for the information, really appreciate it! I'll have to look into thrifty shopper and/or wellnow.
