Helps our class rank too...not that the class rank means a damn thing...
We are ranked 44 now...hmmmmmm...
Weren't we ranked at 44 for some time last year, as well?
Let's hope he's bumping up his grades enough to qualify.Not that it changes my opinion on him, but Scout has bumped Ashton to 4*.
109 in HCDM first year.Likely. We finished 51st last year and 53rd the year prior per Scout.
sure that wasn't the offense? bada dum dum ching109 in HCDM first year.
Scout continues to list AB as a TE rather than QB. What am I missing?That's awesome. Hope dm at least gives him a look at qb. He seems to play it well as a mobile qb.

hmm - sounds like Scout wants some SU subscribers backnice
Myles Davis now a ***
class is now ranked 44th

And Rivals doesn't. Not nearly as generous. 7th in Big East and not in their Top 50. Who to believe... I guess if the team continues to perform like 2011, we'll have our answer.
He's still listed as a TE though...Not that it changes my opinion on him, but Scout has bumped Ashton to 4*.
At the end of the day I think we're seeing a gradual improvement in size and athleticism. I still believe things are trending in the right direction and have faith in our coaches evaluation ability. This has been proven multiple times in the fact that other schools come after our recruits late in the process and the success our recruits have on the field as seniors. Look at Whigham, a relative unknown to start the process. Eskridge last year, a kid I think a lot of us are excited about. Furthermore, upgraded recruiting service ranking late in the year. I'm not sure what all of this means but I do know I'd lock up Wheatley and Adkins for as long as possible.
I believe Whigham and Brantley were bumped as well..
I know.. weird to me too. I fully understand that I could never evaluate high school talent and project their college positions. I too understand that high school QBs are generally your best athlete unless the person is 280 lbs.. That said, even the prep school played him at QB and he fared very well.. While I wouldn't compare Broyld to Tyrod Taylor or Mike Vick just due to lack of comparison when it comes to body type, speed and arm strength, but I would say that his gameplay would seem to emulate theirs well. Do you need a Tyrod or Vick talent to be that successful at the college level?Scout continues to list AB as a TE rather than QB. What am I missing?
