He is an amazing specialist - but a specialist is what he is.  He can shoot the three.  That's never going to be a priority as a high minute guy except on mid-majors.

We need him, he needs to be a vital part of the machine, but he isn't a shooting guard, he isn't a small forward, and he isn't anything else. He can fill spots and give you some great shooting off the bench, or starting, but not playing a ton of minutes as he is incredibly limited in every other aspect of the game for this level.  He can make due at any of those position though because he's smart, fundamentally sound, and if his minutes are limited can likely max out on effort more and perhaps give a bit more on defense.  :(
