2) The result confirms what I’ve thought since the Youngstown State game. We’re a good, low-major team. Nothing more than that.

They did look better today. The competition was not great, but they did actually look like a team, and he did play a lot more guys when it mattered.

Lucas Taylor with maybe his best game. Petar Majstorovic with a very solid game. Pretty happy with Cuffe. Eddie & Carlos had good games, and we even saw some token press, and a big man sighting.

All in all, better than some of the trash performances we've been watching lately. Now they have to play like this against ACC teams.

A few sparks of hope: Taylor making threes, Cuffe and Petar being productive, Donnie continuing to make 3s. If Bell and Moore remember how to make a 3, maybe we win a few more games.

On the other hand, our hands in this game were terrible; Lampkin being the worst - ouch.

Edit, should mention that Moore and Freeman also had way too many TOs.

And what happened to Davis; I thought he would have had a big offensive game against these guys?

I always miss the Saturday day games because of my work schedule, but ready for Wake Tuesday. We'll get that game thread to at least 14 pages!

Petar should play more. As backup 5 man and some spot duty at the 4. He understands the game of basketball. I think he can be a productive player for us over the next few years. The more he plays the better he will be.

I do like his game especially for a freshman who came here late. Would Like to see him get stronger.

I am fortunate to sit right behind the scorers table. When the refs were over sorting things out, TV Teddy said “kid thinks he’s Joe Frazier.”

We’re not even a great LOW major. We’re a good low major.

We’ve beaten low majors by 2, 4, 9 (2OT), 10, 17 and 12.
