He needs to be on the field more on third downs. If we had a better passing game shady wld kill it on some draws. Tolbert did his thing today. Still think he's on the field too much on 3rd down but he's def not awful. I think Jones is an exciting 3rd rb option as stated above. Defense was bend but DO break today aside from the first 2 possessions that TB got 2 FG's on. The rest of the stops required a TO it seemed. Not 100% sure of the issue here... selling out for the run today perhaps, seemed wide spread, apparent Poyer injury not helpful going forward. I don't think I've ever seen a game where guys for the other team ran more wide open and we still won the game. The forced TO's can never be underestimated though, Milano's INT, White poking the ball out to set up the win. Turnovers are everything and we could have forced a couple more - poked one from OJ Howard at one point and Hyde's almost-INT would have been a big one in the 4th. There is an extra focus from this staff to go for the ball that has helped us win some games this year. The previous staff did not emphasize or have enough luck with this. Kyle Williams needs to be on the Wall of Fame (would like to hear some of your thoughts on this?!) The guy is always flashing and works like a farm horse. Has been doing it for over a decade. He really is a legend. On the other end of the spectrum is Dareus... I don't care about the cap hit anymore... can we trade him for anything? That all said -- most my negative stuff was in the game thread!!!..... 4-2 ... next weekend's game is huge. Oakland 3-4, preseason favorites over us - competing for a wildcard spot with us.
