A couple for days ago I had dinner with about 20 people for a friend's b-day.  I met a couple of guys he grew up with (in NNJ) but randomly both had been born in Buffalo and one moved to NNJ when he was 5, the other around 12.  Both, along with the majority of their families were die hard Bills fans and it shocked me to learn that both guys consider the New York Football Giants as their arch nemesis.  Apparently most of their families do too. They truly hate on the GMen more than the Jets, Fish or Pats.

Their reasons were many, from "they are the true NY team" to losing on the Norwood kick.  They were truly surprised when I told them that as a Giants fan I never consider the Bills as any sort of rival at all.  Honestly don't care about them at all.  Truly indifferent.  I let them know I feel the same way about the Ravens, even though they beat us in a SB.  I never think of the Ravens as a rival.  Those thoughts are reserved for the foreSkins and Cowgirls first and foremost, then the Iggles (way back, but gaining on the big 2 fast as the Donovan effect continues to wane) then (if I really stretch it) to some other NFC teams we have matched up with in the playoffs a few times like the Packers and 9ers.

These guys told me that Buffalo hating on big Blue is commonplace.  Really??
