I think he’s alluding to the fact that Cole Beasley is an All-Pro and that McD needs him to win.  He won’t be cutting him like the mommas on this thread called for.  He’s alluding to the fact that he will be looking for his OC and his QB to feed this great football player the ball so that the Bills can win games.  A lot of games.

He’s alluding to the concern over unvaccinated players falling under stricter regulations, if exposed - if infected, which could put all that he’s worked for in jeopardy.

No where, in there, is he alluding to selfishness or inappropriate action or inaction.  He doesn’t allude to “distractions” or “me guys.”

He’s alluding to his and everyone’s will to win possibly being affected by things outside of their control.

They didn’t create the pandemic, they didn’t set the NFL’s heavy handed policy. Neither did the vaccinated players, nor the unvaccinated players.

Everyone is doing what they feel is right for them and their families.  And unfortunately for big Bills fans like you and me AND head coach Sean McDermott — bodily autonomy and individual freedom are more important than football.  Light years more important.
