I defended enough people to know that sometimes (not saying that is the case here)  people make up accusations for reasons other than the truth.  (Different circumstances, but the recent filing against Bob Dylan comes to mind. After some scrutiny, it was withdrawn, with prejudice.). When the filing of the complaint is put off until after the guy makes an NFL roster, that ought to cause a closer scrutiny.

Also, I think the Bills deserve the benefit of the doubt, based upon their track record to date.  Could be wrong.

I respect your position, I just have lots of years of experience on these things from the defense side which impacts how I look at these during the initial stage.  (How many people thought Amber Heard was a total victim, until she was subject to cross examination?) BTW, part of me hopes she is lying because what she alleges happened is just terrible.  The guys could better recover from false allegations than someone could from that trauma.
