Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

So we can basically choose pats or jags based on if we want to win or lose

Obviously we can lose to either team but my assumption is Buffalo isn't going to tank and would probably chose to play Jax. I think you can make an argument either way on whose the more difficult opponent but I think Buffalo would prefer Jaxville even though offensively the Jags have more weapons then the Pats. That would allow you to avoid the 1 seed (again assuming they won) if the Chargers can upset the Pats as they would then go to mile high.

If your the 7 seed your looking at Pats and then at Denver if you win no matter what.

When in doubt go with the unknown. I’d rather play against Lawrence. He’s more susceptible to turning it over and there’s always a chance he throws up a complete stinker.

With this Bills team and its flaws I don't know if any game is a lock in the 1st round like it has been the last few years. Even if it was at Pitt I'd have concerns despite how bad that Pitt offense is. Jax has looked very good the past month + but as you noted it seems that matchup has the chance to be more favorable then at the Pats but it's all a crap shoot. WIth how this year has played out the Chargers will probably beat the Pats and we will lose to Jax.

In the moment, I thought the foot injury was impacting his throws. Still think that’s the case

Josh sometimes gets excited and pulls the ball on big throws on 4th down. At Miami a number of years ago on 4th and goal he had a Wr wide open but again pulled it wide. Maybe his foot played a role its possible but I also think he's so pumped it's open his mechanics aren't where they need to be and you get that. Disappointing for sure but it happens to even the best, but he's gotta at least let Shakir have a chance to make a play on it.

After watching the Sunday night game I couldn’t help but think how broken the passing game is. I think it’s time to move on from Brady after this year. It’s not going to get better unless they find their version of Chase, Lamb, or Jefferson.

This version of San Francisco isn’t as talented as years past, but Shanahan is elite as scheming guys open.

I've been slow getting there because "iTs tHe pLaYcAlLiNg, too predictable" has been the scapegoat for every struggling offense ever in history. Its the ref version of "our best rusher is getting held with no calls".

But ya I've seen enough film breakdowns that make it clear the defense knows what's coming & Brady is actually too predictable. Need more self scouting and tendency breakers in certain formations beyond the fake screen play.
We're definitely at a disadvantage without one of these Shanny/Cohen/Johnson Gurus. Sucks.

McD has done a nice job holding this D together this year with duct tape imo. Finally have some exotic blitzes getting home. But the tradeoff is only worth it if they continue playing over their heads into January for once.

I'd prefer to play Jacksonville. New England doesn't seem like a great matchup, despite that comeback we had at NE in the last game. I think Trevor Lawrence is capable of making enough mistakes that can help us.

I can't decide, it's super close. Jax has the worse but still capable QB with better weapons and a worse run game. Their Defenses are hard to gauge. Jax is better statistically but if NE gets Milton Williams back he's everything to their Run D; I think they were also missing Spillane in the last game who is a good LB.

Love the timing of these. What are they Cuse basketball
Pats on a heater! Poor Drake Maye, wholesome dude married his girlfriend from middle school! She’s baking cookies and these guys are beating up women like it’s like changing the laundry (allegedly)

I mean Diggs is such a POS, if even half the stuff about him is true hes still just the worst.

No worries I’m sure Kraft will clean it up when he gets out of the massage parlor! Like I said I can’t dislike Drake Maye or Vrabel but some of these guys, good lord

Idk I'd gladly take the Pats again. I think they are a bit of a paper tiger and they would've lost both regular season games to Buffalo if Josh doesn't throw a devastating red zone pick. The only thing that would suck about that matchup, in my mind, is that there would be a ton of pressure on Buffalo to win it.

If the Pats don't have Barmore and Diggs that's an easy decision of who you want to play, but I don't see them losing to the Jets even with the B team in the last game ever at the Ralph.

Hard to see Diggs and Barmore not playing next week.

Allen practicing today and will play Sunday (we will see how long).

Poyer, JOnes and Bernard all out.

Bills gonna know how many yards Taylor gains in an early game. Cook about 45 yards ahead. Get enough yards and then pull him.

Probably the last game at the Ralph but it would be cool if there was some wild card weekend chaos that allowed the Bills to host one more playoff game.
