Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

I am super excited that the Chiefs are on the brink here, but I will say their remaining schedule is:

Home vs. injury-riddled Chargers
Away vs. Titans
Home vs. Broncos
Away vs. Raiders

Titans and Raiders games SHOULD be relatively easy wins and I think the Chargers is a likely win too. If they actually run the table, their playoff odds increase to 62% with a Chargers loss tonight or 43% with a Chargers win tonight.

Chargers remaining schedule is:

Home vs. Eagles
Away vs. Chiefs
Away vs. Cowboys
Home vs. Texans
Away vs. Broncos

Decent chance the Chargers are underdogs for all of their remaining games and if they lose tonight and lose to the Chiefs, they're essentially one more expected loss away from still letting the Chiefs sneak into the playoffs.
Depending on what happens with NE down the stretch that last game may mean nothing to Denver.

1000%, if the Chiefs are barely in or need a Chargers loss in the finale, highly likely Denver lays down unless the 1 seed is on the line.
I tend to think KC is done regardless and have more faith in the Chargers than most do here, but I also said the Chiefs were in trouble a month ago and everyone said they would sneak in then too. It's too bad the Colts couldn't close out that fourth quarter against them because they would be on a 5 game losing streak at the moment.

I assume it was to avoid a delay of game, but that was one of the weirdest timeouts I've ever seen. And maybe they were THAT nervous about moving an extra point back 5 yards in those conditions, but man, I think I would have much rather taken my chances on the longer extra point vs. sacrificing another timeout that you very well may have needed.

In general, I think coaches have come a long ways in terms of using analytics in their decision-making, but coaches/QBs sacrificing timeouts to save 5 yards (or in McD's case, to get the defense lined up correctly) as often as they do is maybe a miscalculation in a lot of scenarios.
Especially in the 2nd half and especially on 3rd&8 vs 3rd&13 type scenarios (XP even worse).

It could be partially due to their crappy homefield advantage but I feel like the Chargers every year have the most pick 'em games in the league (spreads inside of +/- 3). The Cowboys & Texans games are definitely that.
It's probably better they're playing KC this week before their OL gets guys back.

It’s the best sports show by far.
ESPN can’t hold a candle.
I like all the regulars except mangini who I can’t stand. I like how they mix humor into their arguments instead of fake agression towards each other which is the style ESPN has chosen

Never seen a minute of any of those shows. Isn't Broussard the guy who thought Taylor Lewan played for the Bills a few years ago? I just can't imagine caring about the takes coming from someone like that.

Kincaid and Bishop both practicing fully

Bosa, Bernard, Spencer and Palmer are all practicing but limited. Great sign for at least 3 of the 4 being available. Really need Bosa.

Ya I enjoy it as well. Nick gets over the top on KC obviously and ditto Wildes with the Pats but it's usually pretty good. I find myself agreeing with a pretty good amount of Nick's non Bills takes.
He’s obviously a KC homer but he actually is very knowledgeable, generally speaking as it relates to sports topics.

How much are we into this game? I wish we were a game closer so I could get into stressing out about the injury report..
Hoping for help & not getting it while playing everyone week 18 would suck.

He’s the only guy that consistently points out that Allen in fact is one of the all time greats statistically in playoff numbers. The typical talking head idiot conflates the bills lack of reaching the superbowl with Allen “not performing” in the playoffs .

I don't think we can catch them for the division but a win on Sunday essentially locks the Bills into a playoff spot barring a million different things all going wrong including losing to Cle and the Jets.

If we can’t catch NE but do win , it puts us in a position to “choose “ our opponent better based on how hard we try the last couple games

One goal going forward would be to rest a bunch of starters in the last regular season game.

In theory, yes. It's so muddy it's going to be tough to manipulate though. Unlikely the North is decided before the last week.

Ya I think whoever comes out of the North is the team unless Cincy somehow magically wins the division. I am also not sold on Jax but at Jax in an opening round game won't exactly be easy.
Bengals are cooked based on tiebreakers with Pittsburgh. I’m not a big believer in Baltimore. Lamar has been terrible post injury. Jacksonville is a legitimately good team even though I’m not a big believer in Lawrence. That would very much be a 50/50 game.
