Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Nix has a higher QBR than Rodger’s and Lawrence and a higher PFF rating than Stroud and Rodger’s. Performance and reputation don’t align with Stroud and Lawrence vs Nix.
I’d take any of those qb’s over Nix because when he’s bad he’s simply attrocious. Lawrence has been coming on.

Really shocked we don’t agree since we never seem to. Lawrence had two great games in a row and still has more turnovers than Nix. So does Herbert and Allen fwiw. Some of you have a built in opinion from his days at Auburn.

You're allowed to disagree with the collective but the market agrees more with us than you fwiw.
Elite D, elite OL, elite coach, inside track on 1seed with a good home field...
So why aren't they an overwhelming favorite? Anyone who doesn't think he's the worst QB in the AFC bracket should be loaded up on Denver Futures.

My wife is an Oregon almuni and my middle daughter is currently a junior year there. I watched every game he played at Oregon and many for Denver. I don’t trust him in the playoffs nor do I think Payton will. Without the Denver defense and Sean Payton I don’t think he’s much of anything.

Like I said thread use to be for bills fans not NFL banter about 2nd rate 2nd year 28 year old system QB’s

There aren't many outcomes in the AFC playoffs that would shock me other than maybe the Steelers going to the SB. Really wide open, all of the participants have flaws.

Agreed, I can see essentially any of the teams losing in the 1st round or winning the AFC save for as you noted probably Pittsburgh. As a Bills fan I can usually get a decent read on the team, this year I have almost no idea. I'm leaning toward an early exit because of a number of issues but again if they were at Denver or Jax in the AFC champ game I wouldn't be shocked either.

I'm still baffled why the NFL scheduled Eagles/Bills for this week. Feels like this week should've been Patriots/Bills 2.0 to get a final read on the division winner.

I think Nix is a little better than most give him credit for (17th in EPA/play this year) but he does just enough to win games while the Denver defense does the rest of the work keeping them in it.

Can he win a shootout in a playoff game? He did vs GB but most of the other games were low scoring.

Looks like we will not be getting any assistance from the Jets.

Not that it would made a shred of difference but your season has been over for weeks now . You have nothing to lose. It’s obvious you are up
Against it today with Brady Cook of all people . And cowardly, you punt on 4th and 2. And the pats score on you in like 3 plays after the punt.

Sit Allen today and next week. The games have no meaning. Zero chance Pats lose to these 4th string QBs on teams that have quit already

I know seeding is important, but these last two Bills regular season games will be relatively laid back. Can’t win the division and can’t miss the playoffs. Most important thing is no injuries.

If they lose today it comes down to whether or not they wanna play Jax or NE in the 1st round

Can’t trust Josh to not hurt himself worse playing all out , which he will 100% do. I’d take away his chance at doing this and yank him.

These announcers for the pats game (Amin / Bree’s) are going so far out their way acting as if the jets are trying and this is a legit game. Now the jets received a taunting penalty down 28-3

They may be right. They are that bad.

I misspoke above for some reason I thought a Pats win today clinched the division for them but they still have to beat Miami next week. Obviously unlikely to happen.

You could tell in the first five minutes of this game that the NYJ had mailed it in. No effort to make tackles that should have been made. Jogging down field. Pathetic.

Compare that with the Browns who have nothing to play for but are giving it their all and genuinely care.

How’s that not PI on Ward? He never turned at all . I’m not saying that should be PI, but the NFL has zero consistency when it comes to rules application and enforcement

Two playoff games next weekend: Ravens/Steelers and Bucs/Panthers.

Someone in the NFC South is going to make the playoffs by accident.
