It’s crazy how big the first game of the year is. Basically a two game swing for home field in the playoffs .

Just don’t see how we can match Baltimores motivation., you know they’ve circled this game the second the schedule came out , seeking revenge. And we have to deal with regular season instead of playoff Lamar

Key thing is KC not getting the 1 seed thus having to play both Buffalo and Baltimore. This should be the toughest AFC West of this Mahomes run and there’s got to be some negative regression from last year’s horseshoe games

He's not better than Rapp IMO and I don't see them stopping Bishop's development at this point

He ran the 40 in 4.45 and the 10 yard split in 1.53 which were both 90th+ percentile for safeties. If that's slow then IDK what you're looking for lol

Calling him a bust, especially after 1 season and after we've seen a bunch of Bills players develop is too much

I hope you're right. I'm over all the KC/Balt fans whining all offseason about how bad the East is. It was last year. But it wasn't supposed to be. Just like the West was supposed to be a gauntlet when Russel Wilson & Devonte Adams were traded and it sucked.

If we've learned anything from watching the AFC since 2000, it's that Elite QB teams will be good, and beyond that nobody really knows a damn thing about who those 2nd tier teams will be.

We have about 8,792 data points showing defense doesn't translate year to year as much as people think it does - including the Jets & Browns just last year. And yet we have the Broncos this year whom everyone assumes will be some '85 Bears defensive unit. OK, I'll believe it when I see it I guess. Already can't wait for the Chargers Kicker to slip on a PAT or something.

I get people being down on Bishop at this point but that said, He's been healthy for about 10 minutes in 14 months. That is a problem for sure, tough to know much other than that. The "no feel for the game" or lack of game speed could be he hasn't played really at all at the NFL level for any significant time. He could very well stink but way too early to tell, IMO. I don't think lack of athleticism is one of his issues though

They will give him a runway here as long as he's healthy and we shall see what he can do
