Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

i admit i tuned myself in to see what arlo guthrie might term a "masacree" . fully expected to be in bed at the half. surprisingly my fins made it a fight. still a loss and 0-3 with an unacceptable record against a division rival but not embarrassed if that's any consolation .
miami's difficulties go way beyond the coach (who i would weep no tears for if axed) but rather further up top. they have the most overpaid and poorly constructed roster in the NFL. (ranked as low as 25th on some sites) yet still have to trade your best players for cap space (like jalen and jonnu) they can't draft for beans. can't trade to fill glaring weaknesses. and Tua is one hit away from retirement.
still they put up a fight. ragtag O-line was opening some holes. liked what i saw from Savinaiisomething on first look despite the downfield penalties. ollie gordonII looks legit . D was overall disappointing but if not for a couple flip passes held their own. the roughing the punter hurt but i don't blame seiler , he was layed out full steam and couldn't stop. rather i question why the block was on ? Buffalo without the call still downs it on the 2.
Tua worries me. his pick was the ball game. his accuracy and timing which i used to think was phenomenal is way off. kudos to josh allen for another stellar game against the fins. weren't ever really able to generate the pressure i had hoped for with all the draft capital spent on the d-line. as a dolphin fan my thoughts tend towards maybe a high draft pick is coming but given past history we usually manage to screw that up as well.
another year no playoffs.
buncha overpaid underperformers. still hoping mcdaniels gets canned. he ain't a winner cuz his teams never beat winners. long season ahead. a win at hard rock november would at least be a shot of bactine on a long festering wound.

Bills caught a break at the end of the first half. Josh's knee was a fumble and the Miami defender recognized it and went after him. But the ref blew the play dead.

You guys give Detroit much of a chance tonight ?

I'd say fighting chance. Baltimore is a wildcard in games like this. Just don't know what version is going to show up and Detroit should be able to pass the ball.

Notice the difference in the speed of the Lions defense vs ours? This is a problem

It will be very nice to have either the Chiefs or the Ravens sitting at 1-3 after next week.
I think the Ravens will be fine long term. Especially with Burrow out long term. I do think KC is in trouble. They have no explosiveness on offense and Mahomes has regressed. That said there’s no excuse for the Bills to not get the one seed this year. The schedule is breaking for them quite well.

Wouldn't it be something if the Chiefs, Ravens and Bengals all ended up down this year and the freaking Chargers came in and stole the one seed from the Bills?

The Chargers have quite a favorable schedule as well. At least until December.

Colts/Rams is a game to follow this week. If the Colts were to win or even be in it down to the end then it’s probably time to start taking them seriously.
