Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Absolutely agreed. I also think we simply need to get a boundary WR in here. I liked Coleman as a prospect even if he wasn't my first choice, but I do not at all understand how we thought it was a good idea to have him as basically our only option given how raw he was coming out of FSU. Hopefully Palmer and Gabe get healthy soon and can help shore things up a bit but I'm really hoping we go out and trade for someone too.

Happy to eat crow if I'm wrong, but I don't think Gabe is going to give us anything at all. In the last two seasons (he's played in 27 games, not counting playoffs), he's had 1 catch or less in 12 games. He's surpassed 100 yards receiving 3 times. Hell, he's only surpassed 50 yards receiving 8 times. If a guy like him is running more than 8-10 routes per game for you, then your offense is probably not very good (and this is not a defense at all of the production - or lack thereof - from Coleman).

I'm with ya, but I do think he's likely better than Shavers, who's played almost half our snaps the last two games (if Gabe isn't a shell of his former self due to the injuries).

I guess, but I think there's a reason why teams weren't clamoring for this guy after the Jags released him. I mean, he couldn't even get a training camp invite anywhere - seemingly due to serious concerns with that knee injury. Doesn't bode well for his chances for success here or anywhere.

I don't think teams generally rush out to sign middling receivers that are guaranteed to miss the majority of the season. We were an exception both due to our desperation but also our familiarity with him.

Sure, but he still stinks.

Rasheed Shaheed possible WR target from the Saints. Vertical threat. In last year of reasonable contract.
