Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

And so ends the Drake Maye MVP boomlet. Josh has wins against Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar and Maye. Can you say MVP?

The coaching had nothing to do with the comeback . But they had a lot to do with the deficit. They all owe Allen their careers

Speaking of which, Dino Babers owes Eric Dungey 7 figures.

Go look at Staffords numbers
Having said that , Josh is now in the running . 37 total TD. The narrative would be he’s doing it by himself with no weapons and a crappy coaching staff

I read that being active restarts the five year window of post retirement benefits which were about to expire.

NE ain’t that good. We showed up for one half and that was enough on the road and with NE off a bye no less
That's pretty much my takeaway as well. All the "shadow Diggs?" talk this week was so stupid; he hasn't done squat all year outside of our game. Not the worst game to be missing Benford.

I was holding out hope that Shaq over Bernard was a semi-fix for the Run D. Ooff. I'd like to see some data on explosive runs given up; we're so uniquely bad at it for an nfl team.

TEs have really stepped up, Bills only had 2 receivers catch passes today. Crazy comeback, Allen and Cook just dominated that 2nd half.

Moving forward Davis has got to be active. Shavers is a nice story hasn't caught a pass in forever. Sounds like Hardman is close to being back, think you gotta get him active to. Roll with Shakir Davis Palmer Cooks Hardman.

Defensively thought we buckled down in the 2nd half. Pass rush was still bad but secondary looked decent and Milano finally looks like himself. Hopefully Benfkrd is back next week. Oliver seems like he could be back by the Jets game.

The WRs are tough. Nate Tice who I really like was raving about Shavers as a blocker. I know we want more but at least he does something well.
The DBs definitely did a nice job; those were all coverage sacks today.

Hard to overstate how bad the non challenge was on the first possession. I don't care if they didn't see a replay. General Rule - when the other team is rushing to the line on a big 3rd down gain, throw the *****ing flag. This is not hard.
I scared small animals I was yelling so loud for the red flag.

If Palmer isn’t going to be of use catching the ball, he could at least put up a little more fight on setting his blocks

Did anyone catch the play where the NE defender tried to punch the ball out of Josh’s hands but pretty much missed and just punched him in the Chest instead? Why is that legal? As usual the NFL will wait til there’s some ridiculous incident before they change the rule but they should ban ball stripping attempts where there is a distinct punching motion. Last I checked punching wasn’t legal in the nfl so if you miss the ball on a punch, shouldn’t you be kicked out ?

He had a catch last week but 1 TARGET in 4 games while playing a decent number of snaps is pretty crazy lol. It's not like Gabe was lighting the world on fire but I still can't believe we actually made him a healthy scratch.

I will be curious to see if Hardman is activated or not; I think two of the Gabe/Shavers/Keon crew will continue to be active for their blocking abilities. Shakir will obviously be active. I would guess Palmer remains active as he's probably our best route runner. Comes down to Cooks or Hardman IMO for the last spot.

I think they said at some point this season that they will penalize players for punching the player rather than the ball but kinda like that year where we could challenge pass interference calls but it was an automatic lost challenge, the refs aren't actually calling the punches.

This probably isn't the Bills best team under this regime talent wise, but I love the resiliency of this group.
I don't know what McD does at halftime but he's done a nice job holding this crappy D together with shoestring wire. Film guys are talking about all the exotic looks we ran at them.
Would anyone be opposed to bubble wrapping Bosa/Benford at this point for a few games?
