Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

I don't know what McD does at halftime but he's done a nice job holding this crappy D together with shoestring wire. Film guys are talking about all the exotic looks we ran at them.
Would anyone be opposed to bubble wrapping Bosa/Benford at this point for a few games?
I think it would depend on what happens this weekend with Pats/ Ravens as well as Bills/ Browns. I am not writing off the Miami/ Pats game as a no brainer win for the Pats, I am also not putting either the Browns or the Eagles games in the win column for the Bills either

Milano and Tre were very good today. Defense without some of its best players again. Different guys, but still short handed.
I don’t know if my eyes are deceiving me or not but White suddenly looks like a legit starting DB again.

It’s as if they go into the game and have NO CLUE what the opponents are going to throw at them, then have some defensive genius who can take all the information garnered from the first half and roll out the perfect second half scheme to stop them.

I don’t get it. The pats were coming off a bye so perhaps they were throwing an atypical amount of wrinkles at them. But this is week over week with the tale of two halves defensively .

They start off feeling out the opposing offenses and playing back, then as the game goes along they start getting the looks they want and dial up the pressure.

If they could ever just clean up the explosive runs they give up...

Stafford is trying to get to the clubhouse with it.

Though if you reversed the QBs to the teams Allen might be having a pretty good season on the Rams but Stafford on the Bills would be a 10 loss team.

I'm not doing those things either. Just thinking Risk/Reward probability. It is an unlikely parlay that those players flip a would-be L to a W and NE loses. Need both to happen for going balls out to really be worth it.
I realize that's fantasy world and not what nfl teams do with 3games left. But if we win & NE loses this week as I expect, idk that Philly game gets pretty expendable.

I don't think anyone would build a team the way we have around Stafford. You can't give a pure pocket QB nobody to throw to. Puka, McVay, and to a lesser extent, Davante, gives Stafford some nice options but he's played insanely well this season.

To me, the top tier of QB play this season has been Stafford, Josh, Maye, and Dak. You can poke holes in all of their resumes this season; I think this MVP race is more akin to the most recent Lamar one where none of the QBs have played exceptionally well but somebody has to win it. Honestly think you can make a decent case that Dak has actually played at the highest level but their defense was just so putrid for so much of the season that they aren't even going to make the playoffs lol.

Dak has played well.. But the games he lost were also on him for not playing well enough to win the games.

He is odds on to win Offensive player of the year now that Taylor has stalled out.

The Baltimore/Philly thing is a little confusing, because if New England loses to Baltimore but beats the Jets and Dolphins, they are still AFC East Champs regardless of what Buffalo does, right? Still can't believe we lost to the godforsaken Dolphins.

Yes that's correct, that Dolphins loss is gonna haunt them as we knew it would when it happened.

I think Ravens beat Pats, and lets hope for everyone's sanity that the Bills beat the Browns. ( I think Bills win but don't cover the spread). I think it's an ugly win. Browns defense seems to be leaking oil but will look like the 85 Bears Sunday. Bills and Pats both beat Jets as the Jets QB looks hapless.

Comes down to Pats/ Dolphins who looked abysmal last night but stranger things have happened. The Dolphins kind of looked they were rallying around McDaniels until last night. I give Dolphins a 1 out of 5 type chance at best. The Pats/ Jets game is in NY I guess but with their 3rd string QB I just can't see it.

We shall see but I think Bills at Steelers to start the playoffs ( 5 versus 4)

And I'm okay with that.

If Bills win out and Pats lose to Ravens, that also brings a tie back into play for helping the Bills on the off chance that happens.

And also the Bills lose Pats win but Bills win last 2 and Pats lose last 2 is always a left field chance.

So basically if we win 2/3 or 3/3 it doesn’t make a difference . Assuming the pats lose to the ravens, The pats need to lose to either jets or Miami.

If we win 3/3 and the pats lose 2/3, obviously we win
But if we go 2-1 and they go 1-2, we win by common opponent tie break ?

While id love to win the division I don't think it's gonna happen. I think it would be better for Buffalo if the Pats beat the Ravens. That puts the Ravens in major trouble of missing the playoffs and avoids a potential 1st rd playoff game of the Bills having to play at the Ravens versus the Steelers.
