Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

That’s rough

Afc east crossover opponents are the AFC West AND NFC North s0 2nd place doesn't do much. Do avoid Seattle and likely the Ravens.

I know its because of the wonky scheduling but Buffalo at Houston and the Rams yet again is a bit absurd. They gotta change that up.

Cook finished with 1,621 rushing yds.

Derrick Henry started tonight 152 yds behind him. Has 112 at halftime.

You knew the Steelers would get one of their patented tipped ball fluke ints and a Ravens choke as soon as the Colts coughed up that game.
Oh well at least we don't play Monday.

There are more busts in the Steelers secondary than in a 1970s Hustler magazine

Normally I’d be apprehensive about bills at jags. But the jags have had so much tire pumping from the talking heads that they no longer have that feel of a “nobody believes in us” team, despite the bills being slight favorites at open (I think it flips to jags by Sunday )

Tale of the tape

Jags D: 1st against the run. 20th vs pass
Jags O: 12th passing . 20th running

Bills D: 27th against the run. 1st vs pass
Bills O: 15th passing. 1st running.

So we have a bad run D vs a bad run O
We have a great run D vs a great run O

Then we have a middle of the pack pass offense vs a bad pass defense and a slightly better than average pass offense vs a great pass defense .

Seems to me this game will come down to whether our bad run D can limit their bad run offense vs can their great run D limit our great run offense.

I think the passing for each team will be moderately successful.

So it's thought to be a close one. Now who would you want under center with under two minutes and the need for a game winning drive? I'll take our guy.

I mean I’ll take the better QB for any situation at any time. This game likely comes down to Joe Brady though. What’s the plan B if they shut down our run game? Or do we zag and come out throwing?

Id rather watch Bills/ Jags play. The pats / bills game 3 doesn’t excite me much. Maybe it’s just me? I also don’t want to listen to diggs either

As someone with plenty of Boston friends and zero Jacksonville friends, I'm happy with how this turned out. Who needs the aggravation.

Not having to play the Chiefs is an added bonus.

I know the Jags are really good.

I gotta say, the red helmets are sharp.

I wish they'd go back that. Loved those uniforms yesterday, so many good memories (and 4 bad ones).

I see some people on social media trashing Bills fans for crying about an old stadium that's going to be torn down, but I can guarantee you those people aren't emotional over the physical building itself. They're likely emotional about loved ones that are no longer there with them. Their dad who took them to games there when they were kids. Their grandfather who poured the concrete foundation for the stadium. Their brother or sister who they had season tickets with. The nostalgia and longing for a world that isn't there anymore.

When we finally made the playoffs for the first time in 2017, my friend that I was watching the game with literally sobbed. It wasn't all about the Bills just barely squeaking into the playoffs. It was about not getting to celebrate that moment with his dad - the reason he was a Bills fan - who had passed unexpectedly a number of years prior. The connections that we have to things like this go far beyond what that "thing" is itself.
