Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Brady was by far the best color commentator this weekend. Romo was terrible, CC is nails on a chalkboard and Herbie has to spend half the time covering for Michael’s being blind.
Romo kept acting as if the bills were some huge favorite . “This Jacksonville team is for real!” Who the hell thought otherwise? They were freaking betting favorites to win. “Now they are starting to believe!” Why wouldn’t they ? They had the better record and were at home. 🥸

Now that NE gets tomorrow's winner I'm sure Pittsburgh is winning.
Neither Houston’s nor Pittsburgh’s offense is going to pose a threat to them . 10 points is all they will need

Houstons D would give them a lot of trouble I think. Worry about the Texans O though. Agree on Pittsburgh, cant see them winning especially after beating them early in the season.

I like the matchup vs Denver. Should have an easier time running the ball and obviously don't have to worry about Surtain taking away your WR1 since...you know.

Going to be a battle with a short week/all the injuries, but a great opportunity awaits. Onward!

I don’t know. This could be a repeat of Houston / Atlanta with the Denver pass rush

Your secondary issues shouldn't be a problem next week. Nix sucks worse that Sunshine.
Which is why Buff is going to win - every QB they play the rest of the way will throw up all over themselves including Darnold in the Bowl.

Wow the Bills opened -1.5 at Denver. I have to imagine the overall #1 seed in a conference being a home dog in the divisional round is pretty unusual.
It’s a toss up game. People will disagree, but despite the narratives Nix is better than Lawrence and Payton is a better coach than Coen. I think the Bills win by running. Denver’s pass D is elite.

I recall GB@ATL being close to a PK and Mike&Mike talking about that being disrespectful to a 14win team. Can't believe that was 15 years ago.

Perhaps I tune out Romo by osmosis so he doesn't bother me as much. TBF, watching the highlights back he did surmise very early that the Bills weren't going to be able to run it.

I'd flip this on the pass vs rush. Denver is the #2 rush D. We've gotten torched a lot this season by passing over to Moss' side. I will assuredly pull the rest of my hair out as long as he's lined up opposite Surtain. The Buffalo coaching staff will have goose bumps thinking up the game plan to target him. He'll either get a PI or just get burned.

Also passes in the flat or directly behind the D line have killed Denver this year and is our weakness. Also have a hard time covering TE's. As I previously posted before the playoffs, I didn't really want to see Buffalo first.

This is a Bills staple this season.

Great win yesterday. Having been frustrated with our defense most of the year, I’m more than willing to tip my cap to McD and Babich, the defense really played well most of the game and came up with the winning turnover. I’m also hopeful Poyer can come back for this weekend because wow does Hancock look lost out there.

Offensively, it was certainly a struggle, especially early, but ultimately JA is just an incredible football player. I did think Josh did a better job yesterday taking what the defense gave him in early down situations, which made conversions easier. At the same time, that back foot throw to Cooks on the last drive was simply nuts. Lots to improve on offense and I’ll be curious who is in the WR rotation this week, but a really satisfying victory.

As others pointed out- huge props to Prater. Two big, big kicks coming off injury.

Biggest downside, as it is every week- NFL officiating. That end of half sequence was absolutely nuts…

Herbert still looks like trash in the playoffs. Can't wait for the football nerd community excuses this week for their golden boy. One AFC West team down now you guys take out the other one next week.
Its crazy. Most of what I’ve heard so far is “you can’t really blame Herbert”. Dude missed about a half dozen throws where he left the pocket and had receivers well down the field with more separation than almost any Josh Allen receiver

Cooks might be the secret ingredient. In addition to his long catch, he was Wide open downfield on at least one other play.

I think we’d beat Denver all things being equal. But all things aren’t equal. We’re going in with a huge rest disadvantage and a short week to high elevation, with major injuries and banged up QB.

I’ve been to Colorado a few times and the first couple days I straight up feel sick. Mind you this is a fat middle aged guy going from sea level to 7 thousand feet (aspen / snowmass) rather than a pro athlete in his 20s to 5280 feet but there’s no way there isn’t some effect .

Everything is set up for Denver to win., Denver should win. If they don’t, it’s a real choke job if you ask me.

The drop late in the second quarter when I thought we were about to double dip and end the game . He’s had at least one play each game where he’s gotten ridiculously open. Speed matters

Those that were looking for us to kneel on first down when trailing, I'm not sure what to tell you other than look no further than the Titans game we fumbled the snap and the Vikings game where we fumbled the snap, both on sneak plays.

There are no guarantees in the NFL - when trailing, you take the points, especially in the playoffs. It is not a time to get cute.

Agreed, it's not a video game

Yup. I'm hoping them playing week 18 vs us taking it off mitigates some of that. But idk 17 took some shots, some of them cheap if you ask me. **** those cats.
