did you know that it was reported last night that Hackett was hired?

I wonder if Doug asked a couple of other guys, was turned down and then picked Hackett? It is possible it was a done deal with those two before the Buffalo offer but it is also possible Doug was turned down and Hackett wasn't his top pick.

I believe he wanted Carmichael from the Saints first, but was turned down.
