At times I thought I was having an acid flashback to last year's Ga Tech catastrophe.

Today vs South Florida it once again felt like Bullough completely whiffed on his game plan and left us totally unprepared. And then he was unable, or unwilling, to make the necessary adjustments to get even a single defensive stop.

It's just so demoralizing to see us get pushed around the field like this.

we were dominated by a veteran offensive and defensive line. defense could not get off their blocks. we could not stop their run game. offensive line could not sustain blocks. we had no sustained run game. there you go. not scheme, execution which falls on coaches and players.

This is a to-the-point, objective summary of why we lost and why it felt like a blow-out. Hoping the coaches and the players get things on track for UVA real quick since next Saturday's game is a true must-win.

GA Tech was 2 years ago. That game was a complete mess.

If not for the out-of-bounds hit yesterday, USF would've had to punt. SU was only down by 7 with a lot of time on the clock. SU proved that they could move the ball and score... the end result could've been much different.

What really hurt the defense was being on the field so long in the first half. Especially when you have a team from the north playing in 85+ degree temps, high humidity and in the sun. It was very hot there yesterday. Our seats were in the sun most of the game...just sitting there was hot. I can't imagine how hot those players were running around playing defense. It just drains your energy. I think Lester made the mistake playing too conservative causing the defense to stay on the field around 10-12 mins longer than USF's defense in the first half. USF game planned well and moved to the hurry up to make it worse.
