And there go the hopes of western ny on the first play!

they played a tough game... big mistake by the refs in the miami game doesnt help on the blown overrule of the INT.. I always wonder how they can replay a call and mess up like that.

Can't lose the turnover battle 3-0 vs one of the best teams in the league on the road especially with a backup QB and missing your elite running back. Still after all that it was 28-17 in the 4th. This team is gritty as ****.

Next week against KC is huge. Win that at home and at 4-5 with an easy, by league standards, schedule remaining they have a chance at that last WC spot that no one is running away with.

Regardless, the future looks bright. This will be the coaching staff that gets Buffalo to the playoffs. A ton of young talent that might be a year away, although if they beat KC, they will have as good of a shot as anyone for that last WC spot.

Marrone is such a grinder, his teams just always seems to hang in there. So rare that a game gets completely out of reach from one of his teams, good characteristic to have. There were a few at Syracuse but not many. The run in 2011 was the low point.

Bills O Line pass blocking today was touch and go. They are going to need a few more qb's at this rate

Not so much the OLine as much as Ryan blitzing the snot out of Thad Lewis. Needs to get it out quicker. They never seemed to adjust. Not sure if that's on the 33 year old OC, the young WR's or the QB making his 4th career start.

Probably a mix of all that and throw in no CJ, so while they might have been afraid of giving up 5-10 yard chunks to FJax and Choice, they knew the Bills wouldnt be hitting home runs out of the run game. Once the defense fell asleep the last 5 minutes of the first half it became the worst case scenario. You can't go down by 2 scores to NO in the Superdome.

Hackett could have called more screens and quick slants imo.

Not really a whole lot to talk about with this game. It was the most un-winable game on the schedule by a lot.

Like everybody else I'm digging the general direction. It's just that all the stuff about the improved coaching & defense don't matter that much for next year if Manuel isn't "the guy". Sucks that he's out for so long.

I think/hope we might be witnessing the decline of Brady before our eyes. He's a dink&dunk machine this year. It'd be nice to at least have the opportunity to be one of those lucky 9-7 division winners next year for once.

As a kinda impartial observer who does not care about the Bills, Buffalo fans should be damn pleased to be 3-5 with a quarterback who for all I know, was last previously seen playing pickup basketball with Billy Edelin.
