I agree with you on Howland. Shaka's stock just got shakaned up a bit. He should jump soon before his stock has a recession.

Mostly was referring to Shaka Smart, but I have no interest in seeing Howland join the conference - damaged goods or not, that guy has a lot left in the tank and is a really good coach.

Capel is dreaming big??? Howland is damaged goods, not sure he could hope to do much better than Wake. Shaka is a hot name who is probably still on everyone's list.

Smart has 5 yrs to wait for a Duke, NC, Kentucky, Louisville, (notice A team I'm leaving out?) A prime coaching spot to open up close to his comfort zone. He passed on UCLA, which may be a good gig, just not exactly now.
Or will he prefer the Gonzaga route, and actually the Boeheim route in the '70's. Hang tight, invest in your brand, and come knocking on the elite's door in 5-7 years.
