Off the top, I cant think of one who made it big.....and that was in an era when we had three or four years to develop players.

BMK was about the best of those types of projects that immediately comes to my mind and though I loved his game he was far from a star.

EDIT - Just noticed he went to UNLV so the conversation is moot. Cant say I am unhappy about that.

Yup this is all I want too but I want someone who has actually done it at this leve(not p4 only, i mean played at the d1 level effectively) Obviously that’s a tough ask both find and price wise but yeah i would really prefer someone established.

No question those are the attributes we’re looking for. My question is are we willing to settle for guys based solely on promise, or are we looking for some proven ability?
