Or they found an upgraded center that will not allow him to gain more minutes (a few out there) and decided to mutually part ways. But his advanced metrics are pretty good for a freshmen, he will be a hot commodity in the portal. Could be a parting gift to Luke, kind of how Fran took a few guys with him from Georgia. Though, this is a pretty big parting gift lol.

Those two can shoot the three a little better than Reibe but I agree, I think they’re all essentially the same player. Diop is the best shot blocker out of the three though. Maybe that’s what he’s looking for.

If either were a substantial improvement over Reibe, I would understand. But, if I were Hurley, I would lock down Reibe and roll with him. He has the potential to be just as good as either of the other two, if not better. Seems like a panic move, to me.

Agree. I’d imagine Reibe got into a dispute over money and decided to leave. Supposedly he’s giving Mullins 5 million to stay which is… nuts

I like Mullins, a lot. But, that is an insane number for a wing. Especially a skinny one, that would likely need another year regardless.

Yeah Danny might’ve been joking when he said 5 million but he seemed serious. He’s trying really hard to keep him from the draft which, like you said, is not a good idea for a kid his size.

I wouldn’t be mad if we took a run at this kid after watching more tape. He had a similar freshman year as Clingan numbers wise but Clingan is unique. He does many of the same things well and by the looks the kind of player read to be a starter his second year.
