the man is athletic for how big he is. I can see why they’d want him on the football field. He’s got shoulders the size of mountains.

I liked Freeman’s pedigree as an Iowa standout and thus his experience. That said when Omaha finally spilled the beans and seeing Freeman celebrate Auburn adding a PF that will push him for minutes and accept being one of many vs a bigtime starter give me Wilson all day long. Wilson is a true on the block center which comes with some limitations on both sides of the ball which makes it important we have a versatile roster to handle certain matchups. That said he’s long armed, attacks the rim and is a bigtime rebounder and is a lot more mobile for a big bodied center vs someone like dry rub and he will have AO to help him really hone his footwork to be even better inside.

All that considered he is well worth the money Freeman was getting worth more than Freeman was.

I know you don’t follow SU sports closely but we have had another center, a transfer from Siena named Tasman Goodrick, in the fold for a few weeks.

for me 100% - a guy who put up 17/gm in the big ten...a scoring big...that is what is sorely needed on this team...not just a big guy who plays d

No issue with it. We need the best available player, if it’s him bring it on.

You want guys that are weapons and difference makers. He may not be the highest rated guy left but this is a big that makes you better on both ends of the court and rebounds exceptionally well. Carves space , sets screens and gives you a weapon in the low post. Will be the second strongest big in terms of space eater in the ACC if he comes here.

If he was 6-11 not 6-9 he’s probably ranked the highest big left too. Long armed though and has some hops.

LA sucks. I mean it’s fun once in a while but overall meh. Wilson is from Georgia- that’s a big move. Here he can play some games close to home, is still east coast, we have the perfect coach for him to develop his offensive game while giving him above market NIL as an ACC starting center.

Thats kookytalk. LA is fantastic. I mean, it's really a bunch of different 'towns.' Downtown LA, sure—but damn: Venice, Santa Monica, Los Feliz, Malibu... Pasadena? The weather is incomparable. Only NYC moves the needle for me.

San Diego has weather, but it's dull. It's a family town.
