Class of 2024 C Luke Wilson (GA) Portal from Appalachian State / Visiting

You want guys that are weapons and difference makers. He may not be the highest rated guy left but this is a big that makes you better on both ends of the court and rebounds exceptionally well. Carves space , sets screens and gives you a weapon in the low post. Will be the second strongest big in terms of space eater in the ACC if he comes here.
And we can enjoy when the dome erupts with Luuuuuuuuuuuke!!!!!🍊🏀🍊

Thats kookytalk. LA is fantastic. I mean, it's really a bunch of different 'towns.' Downtown LA, sure—but damn: Venice, Santa Monica, Los Feliz, Malibu... Pasadena? The weather is incomparable. Only NYC moves the needle for me.

San Diego has weather, but it's dull. It's a family town.
Agree with larger point but CA is really screwing up Santa Monica imo

I know you don’t follow SU sports closely but we have had another center, a transfer from Siena named Tasman Goodrick, in the fold for a few weeks.

You can read up on him here.

played 9 games last year for Siena and had procedures on both knees...

looking at his game log from last season, best team he played was st bonaventure - in 35 mins had 4 points on 2 of 9 shooting...

I hope this long streak of orange bigs with potato knees ends now and he has a great season...but until proven otherwise, Im not counting on goodrick for next season...and i think penciling him in for anything other than 3rd center is big time risky in a roster build, for multiple reasons

i really dont expect him to play a big role...do you?!?!

and yeah I follow su basketball...but dont follow ncaabb in general very closely...is that what you meant to say...?because otherwise...wassup

I’ve lived in San Diego for 25 years; part of it is family dominated suburbs, but I wouldn’t call Oceanside PB OB Little Italy and Hillcrest full of families

Different preferences. I like the NorCal climate and landscape better which I know isn’t for everyone.

Curious, and I'm not sure if this guy would command it or not, in a situation like this could/would gmac phone in some extra $$ from a trusted deep pocket or two?

Haha. San Diego certainly isn’t dull.

My Daughter in Law is from Julian. Love SD, but Julian is a hidden jewel out there. (Caveat: only ever visited for a few days at a time, so no day to day trials or tribulations to deal with)

Julian is cool. We were there 3 or 4 weeks ago just to wander and grab lunch. Love Lake Cuyamaca up there too.
